Why you upload instead of syncing

Syncing is easier.
We know. We could have built it.

We didn't, for a few reasons. And we think once you hear them, you'll agree it was the right call.

Your data stays yours.

To sync, a tool needs a standing key to your store—a permanent credential that allows the application to maintain ongoing access to your account. Trendd never connects to your shop. Ever. No keys. No logins. No open pipes into your business.



Instead, you export your own file. You decide what's in it and when. That file is all we ever touch.



Once you log out, your raw data file is permanently deleted. To track your progress over time, Trendd stores only the calculated metrics needed to power your dashboard, monitor trends, and measure your goals—not your original sales and customer history.

Independent by design.
There's another reason, too. We didn't want Trendd's reliability to depend on someone else's outages, policy changes, or connection issues.

A tool built on a live connection depends on that platform continuing to allow the connection. We didn't want to build Trendd around a door someone else controls.

You download your orders export directly from Faire or Shopify — it takes about 30 seconds. Then upload that file to Trendd. No special format required, no setup, no integrations.
Most reports generate in under 60 seconds. You upload once and all your reports are ready at the same time.
Sign up, pick your tier, and start uploading immediately. You won't be charged for 14 days. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing.
Unlike tools that sync directly to Faire or Shopify, Trendd never has a live connection to your accounts — which means your data is never sitting on our servers 24/7. You upload a file when you're ready, your reports are generated during that session, and the file is deleted when the session ends. During that window, your data is encrypted, transmitted over secure connections, and never accessible to anyone but you. We retain your TrenddScore, goals, and aggregate metrics — but never your raw customer list or order-level data.
No. Trendd uses manual file uploads — there's no API connection to your Faire or Shopify account. You stay in control of what data you share and when.

Yes. Monthly plans can be canceled anytime and end at your next billing date. Annual plans can be canceled anytime too — your access continues through the end of your term, but annual plans are non-refundable.

Yes. Trendd automatically displays your sales and financial data in your local currency whenever it's supported. If your currency isn't currently available, simply use the feedback button at the bottom of any report to let us know. We regularly add new currencies based on customer requests.
First, you’ll upload your data. Most uploads take about a minute, with larger plans taking slightly longer. Once you’re inside Trendd, some reports open instantly and others may take around 10 seconds to load.
Your raw files are deleted
the moment you log out.

We never store your sales files on our servers once you log out. Sessions are private and temporary. Your data exists only to generate your reports — then it's gone.
